The college follows Choice Based Credit system in B.Ed, M.Ed and M.Phil programmes, which was introduced from the academic year 2005 – 2006. which includes both theory and practicals. Curriculum includes both theory and practicals with maximum credits of 52 in theory, 40 credits for practicals and 8 credits for value added courses at the B.Ed level, and maximum credits of 58 in theory, 30 credits for practicals and 6 credits for value added courses at the M.Ed level.
A Student Teacher is expected to earn the credits assigned to successfully complete both Theory and Practicum components of the programme.
