STELLA MATUTINA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

The Stella Matutina Alumni Association is one of the college's most active groups. The college's alumni have played a vital role in raising its profile and promoting its reputation as a provider of high-quality teacher education. Alumni Association is a strong link between the college and Alumni. Alumni contribute to the development of the college in myriad ways. The Alumni Association conducts meetings and holds an annual get-together for all the members. Association is a powerful link between the college and Alumni.

Aims and Objectives
  • Bring together the ex-students of the college as often as possible for their mutual benefit and the benefit of the college.
  • Collect funds by subscriptions, contributions, donations and gifts from members, non-members and other institutions to further the above objectives.
  • Bring out magazines, souvenirs and newsletters highlighting the activities of the College and its Alumni.
  • Organize cultural and educational programmes and also conduct Alumni Day celebrations every year.
  • Create and establish Alumni endowments for granting scholarships, prizes and medals to the students showing high proficiency in their studies.
  • Honouring the Alumni for their extraordinary achievements for the progress of the society.

Alumni contributions to the institution's growth and development
  • When there is a significant revision contemplated in the curriculum by the college, feedback from the alumni is obtained through the association.
  • They raise funds for the development of the colleges.
  • A lot of outreach programmes and everyday celebrations are organized by them.
  • They have been instrumental in getting internship placements for students in various schools.
  • An endowment has been created in the name of the Alumni & awards are being contributed to the outstanding students every year.
  • Besides this, our Alumni give guest lectures to our present students.
  • Provide feedback and inputs in the job scenario and career planning.
